Amanda walks alongside families touched by addiction, offering perspective, compassion, and steady support to loved ones who often feel forgotten in the recovery journey.
Together they founded True North Transitions to be the steady, practical support they wish more people had — for the person in recovery and for the family standing beside them.

I am a hurting mom who was introduced to True North through my son who suffers from addiction. My son met Tad a couple of years ago at the recovery place where my son attended. Recently my son reached out to Tad for help. Tad met him at Heights church on a Sunday for service. He transported my son to a hotel safely (we live in another state). Amanda reached out to me the following day. I told her our family story.
I met Tad from Decision Point Recovery Solutions and he has been very supportive with my recovery program. Tad also introduced me to Truth North Traditions at which met Amanda, Amanda is very straightforward yet very helpful and supportive. Truth North Traditions provided resources who also reached out to me as well.
I've been lucky enough to call Amanda one of my closest friends for over 25 years. As someone who is almost 10 years sober myself, I can honestly say Amanda has been an important part of my own recovery journey.
